Role Overview

As a Trainee System Engineer at Paramatrix Technologies, you will gain practical experience in Linux and Windows system administration, networking fundamentals, and IT infrastructure support. Key Responsibilities

System Administration

- Assist in administration and support of Linux and Windows servers

- Perform basic installation, configuration, and monitoring of systems

- Support routine system maintenance and troubleshooting activities

Networking Support

- Assist in managing and troubleshooting network connectivity issues

- Work with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN

- Support network devices under senior engineer supervision

IT Operations & Support

- Provide L1/L2 technical support for system and network-related issues

- Monitor system health and escalate issues when required

- Follow IT processes, documentation, and operational best practices

Learning & Collaboration

- Work closely with senior engineers and infrastructure teams

- Learn enterprise IT operations, security basics, and monitoring tools

- Continuously upgrade technical skills through hands-on exposure

Education

- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
