About the Role

As an SDET Intern, you will work closely with developers and QA engineers to ensure Prophecy’s products meet high quality and performance standards. You’ll contribute through manual testing, automation testing, and early defect identification, while learning industry-standard tools and frameworks.

What You’ll Do

- Write, execute, and maintain test cases to validate product functionality

- Perform manual and basic automation testing

- Learn and apply test automation tools and frameworks

- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects early

- Take ownership of small testing modules or features

- Continuously improve technical and testing skills under mentorship

What We’re Looking For

- 0–1 year experience in testing or software development

- Strong fundamentals in programming (Java, Python, or similar)

- Basic understanding of software testing concepts

- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving

- Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to Have / Will Learn on the Job

- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit)

- Basic understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, or microservices

- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development practices
